Facts about Luis Munoz Marin will discuss the notable Puerto Rican politician, poet and statesman. He is also known as a journalist.  His full name is José Luis Alberto Muñoz Marín. He was born on 18th February 1898 and died on 30 April 1980.  He earns the title as the “Architect of the Commonwealth” and the “Father of Modern Puerto Rico”.  Marin was elected as Governor of Puerto Rico in 1948, which marked the first democratic election.
